Chapati Side Dish
In this article, we will make a healthy side dish for Chapati using Potato, Big onions, etc.
Ingredients
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - small bunch
- Big onion (chopped) - 2 nos
- Dry red chillies - 2 nos
- Green chilli - 1 Chilli
- Potatoes - 3/4 kg
- Coriander leaves - small bunch
- Salt - as needed
Method
- Cleanly wash the potatoes and cut them in half.
- Take a cooker and add 3/4 kg of potatoes along with salt. Boil it for 2 whistles.
- Remove the potato skin and then mash it.
How to Cook
- Take a pan and pour refined/rice bran oil.
- Add mustard seeds.
- Then add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Now add the dry and green chillies.
- Next, add the big onion into the oil. It gives a good taste to the potatoes.
- Fry the onion and then add the mashed potato. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Finally, add a pinch of salt and coriander leaves. It gives a good taste to our dish.
